On January 1, 2010, China-ASEAN Free Trade Area came into effect on schedule, which is now put the economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN on a historical point. This will usher in unprecedented opportunities and broad prospects of development for mining cooperation in the region.
With the rapid development of China's national economy, and the growing demand for mineral resources, the shortage of mineral resources has become a bottleneck restricting China's economic development.

This year marks the official establishment of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, which will usher in unprecedented opportunities and broad prospects of development for the economic and trade cooperation in the region. In order to facilitate a new carrier for furthering the mutually beneficial exchange and co-operation between mining industries in the region, we feel obliged to host the “2010 China-ASEAN Mining Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as ‘Mining Forum’)” from September 6 to 7, 2010 in Nanning, Guangxi, China.
