The Mining and Extractive Industries  Charity Golf Day 2008

This year the international mining and extractive industry communities in Beijing hosted a golf charity day in aid of the Special Olympics and the Half the Sky Foundation. On behalf of the CIMG Advisors and Secretariat we would like to thank those who participated and sponsored this event .

The event raised 20,000RMB for both the Special Olympics and Half the Sky Foundation. The money raised for the Special Olympics will go to towards provide new uniforms and equipment for children at the Shunyi Special School where the Special Olympics is active. The money raised for Half the Sky will go towards to their new facility for orphans in Guiyang in Guizhou Province.
