The International Zinc Association (IZA) is a non-profit organization, based in Brussels, Belgium, which represents the world zinc industry. IZA provides a forum for the zinc industry to address global issues through collaborative efforts in Sustainable Development, Technology & Market Development, Environment and Communications. Through a merger with the International Lead Zinc Research Organization (ILZRO), IZA members now also have access to ILZRO’s staff and research capabilities in the product, environmental and health areas for zinc. ILZRO is based in Durham, North Carolina, USA. To execute its programs, IZA works closely with the regional zinc associations in Asia/Pacific, Europe, India, Iran, Japan, Latin America, North America and South Africa.

The Canada China Business Council (CCBC) is a private, membership-based association that seeks to facilitate and to promote trade and investment between Canada and China. Founded in 1978 by a forward-looking group of Canadian and Chinese businessmen, the CCBC has served Canadian and Chinese businesses for over 28 years.CCBC members range from some of the largest and best-known Canadian and Chinese firms to leading innovators and SME entrepreneurs in both Canada and China.  Members represent a diversity of sectors including financial services, legal services, information and communications technology, education, manufacturing, construction, transportation, mining and energy.  With over 300 member companies, the CCBC also has a small but growing number of Chinese member companies.

The British Chamber of Commerce in China evolved from the Association of British Business People informally established in 1981. We were formally established in 1993 with the Beijing authorities to represent the interests of our members, and provide a network platform for British business in China. There are four other British Chambers of Commerce spread across mainland China, in addition to one in Hong Kong and in Taiwan. We operate independently but cooperate closely on a number of issues working together to provide a more comprehensive, value-added service for members.

SIFE is a global non-profit organization active in more than 40 countries. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics:

• Market Economics
• Success Skills
• Entrepreneurship
• Financial Literacy
• Business Ethics

SIFE team members leverage their personal educational experiences, the expertise of their faculty advisors, the support of their local business advisory boards, and the resources of their institutions to implement programs that create real economic opportunities for members of their communities. The effectiveness of their programs is judged at competition. Each national SIFE organization conducts a national competition, which is judged by leaders from its business community. At competition, SIFE teams present the results of their educational outreach projects and compete to determine which team was most successful at creating economic opportunity for others. SIFE National Champion teams advance to the top level of competition, the SIFE World Cup.

Founded in Beijing in 1996, the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (AustCham Beijing) functions to provide members with the information, resources and contacts they need to succeed in China.

Invest China provides services for investment opportunities in China and currently lists over 100,000 investment projects, has members of over 350,000 China registered foreign companies and over one million government purchasing organizations. Invest China is managed by China Internet Information Center under the guidance of State Council News Office and China International Publishing Group. CIIC operates www.china.org.cn , which is one of the 8 important government websites and offers broad access to up-to-date news about China in 11 different languages. Invest China is an important vertical portal of www.china.org.cn.

The North America-Mongolia Business Council (NAMBC), the principal foreign business advocacy group in Mongolia, opened its Ulaanbaatar office on December 12. This is the first branch office of the Washington-based organisation. The NAMBC, an American NGO founded in 1991, is the oldest and largest foreign business group concerned with Mongolia. It recently merged with the Ulaanbaatar-based American Mongolian business group in order to significantly expand its activities in Mongolia. The head of the local coordination committee, Peter Morrow, said, "NAMBC is an organisation of both foreign and Mongolian businesses that strongly advocates for trade and investment in Mongolia."
