Although there are some challenges mining in China, many improvements have been made and many more are in the pipeline. These changes will see China become a leading destination for exploration funding and home to many world-class mines. From the development of laws pertaining to environmental protection and safety it can be seen that sustainability will be a key factor for success.  Many investors may view the state of play in the region as 'difficult to understand and work through', but most entrepreneurs see this in the positive sense that this is not a barrier to entry only a stepping stone towards sustainability and the associated benefits it brings. 

The CIMG is pleased and privileged to be working with its members and the authorities to assist in the evolutionary changes that will surely allow China to become recognised as a leading destination of exploration funding and the home to sustainable and world class mines.
